Tom Segrue's 944 S2

For the 2005 Porsche club championship Tom Segrue commissioned EMC to build him a car capable of winning the championship. Tom is a very experienced racer and needed the right car under him. Over the winter of 2004/2005 EMC stripped down and built a new S2.

The car was assembled with our roll-cage, an all new race engine, lightweight panels and remote gas suspension into a bare metalled shell. The car got it's first outing in March of 2005 at Snetterton and within 10 laps Tom had beaten his previous best class times.

At every race that year Tom put the car in pole or second and won virtually every race nearly winning outright against class 1 cars in the dry! That season Tom won the championship in our car and put yet more silverware in the EMC trophy cabinet, well done Tom!

The car is still racing in Porsche club and still winning races in the hands of Trevor Lewis four seasons later.
